Alao | Privacy and Policy

ALAO connects customers with independent vendors and riders for the delivery of food, healthcare-related items, and general goods. By using the platform, all users agree to comply with this Policy, as well as the Terms & Conditions and applicable agreements.

Independent Roles

Riders and Vendors operate as independent parties. Nothing in this Policy creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship with ALAO.

Service Standards

All users are expected to operate professionally and in good faith. Riders must complete deliveries safely and on time, while Vendors must prepare and fulfill orders accurately and within stated timelines.

Product Quality & Safety

Vendors are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and compliance of all products, including food and healthcare-related items. Riders must handle all deliveries with care and must not tamper with packages.

Prohibited Conduct

Fraud, theft, or deceptive practices

Misrepresentation of products or services

Sale of illegal or restricted items

Harassment or unprofessional behavior

Attempts to bypass the platform for payments

Payments & Commission

The platform applies a commission per completed order to support operations, technology, and marketing.

Riders are paid per completed delivery, subject to applicable deductions

Vendors receive payouts after commission and applicable fees are deducted

All transactions must be processed through the platform.

Liability

ALAO operates as a marketplace facilitator and is not responsible for the actions of Riders or Vendors, including delivery performance, product quality, or service outcomes.

Updates

ALAO reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Content & Marketing Use

By using the platform, Vendors grant ALAO the right to use business content, including images, menus, and branding, for platform display, advertising, and promotional purposes.
